Cream Cheese Sausage Crescents

"This recipe is from Tammy's Mom Jody. They're delicious. Really good for on the run breakfast. Pop in the microwave."

 

1 pound Sausage link -- mild or spicy to taste, (Jimmy Dean fresh ground, your choice)

1 8-oz package cream cheese

2 8-oz cans refrigerated crescent roll dough -- such as Pillsbury

 

Fry and drain sausage, mix in softened cream cheese. Separate crescent rolls and spoon just enough sausage mixture onto each roll so that you can still roll it up like package directions show. Bake according to directions on can or until golden brown. Cool a little before serving (the sausage mixture gets pretty hot).
